Projects

Some of the projects for which we have provided surveying, engineering and environmental services are represented in the pictures above.  Many are a one-time project for a particular client and others, like the Milford Regional Medical Center illustrate various phases of the expansion of the facility including the recently opened Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center located across the street from the Main Hospital Campus on Route 140 in Milford, MA.

Wetlands/Rivers Act

Wetlands

• Identify and flag the limits of wetlands in accordance with Mass. regulations and Army Corps of Engineers' regulations
• Perform surveys to locate wetlands and map areas on property
• Prepare request for Determination of Applicability and/or Notice of Intent
• File with Conservation Commission and DEP
• Representation at meetings/hearings

Rivers Act

• Locate the banks of a stream or river that are protected under the recently enacted State Rivers Act
• Survey and locate the bank
• Plot the location
• Plot the 200 foot buffer for the Riverfront Area
• Assist owner in receiving permits for developing lands encumbered by wetlands or the Rivers Act

Storm Water Management Planning

• Prepare forms for Total Suspended Solids compliance using the most recent Best Management Practices
• Prepare Storm water Management Plan for sequence of construction and after construction
• Evaluate newest Storm water Management Control Devices for removal of total suspended solids as approved by the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs (EOEA) within the Strategic Envirotechnology Partnership (STEP) Program
