Wetlands/Rivers Act

Wetlands

  • Identify and flag the limits of wetlands in accordance with Mass. regulations and Army Corps of Engineers’ regulations
  • Perform surveys to locate wetlands and map areas on property
  • Prepare request for Determination of Applicability and/or Notice of Intent
  • File with Conservation Commission and DEP
  • Representation at meetings/hearings

Rivers Act

  • Locate the banks of a stream or river that are protected under the recently enacted State Rivers Act
  • Survey and locate the bank
  • Plot the location
  • Plot the 200 foot buffer for the Riverfront Area
  • Assist owner in receiving permits for developing lands encumbered by wetlands or the Rivers Act

Storm Water Management Planning

  • Prepare forms for Total Suspended Solids compliance using the most recent Best Management Practices
  • Prepare Storm water Management Plan for sequence of construction and after construction
  • Evaluate newest Storm water Management Control Devices for removal of total suspended solids as approved by the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs (EOEA) within the Strategic Envirotechnology Partnership (STEP) Program

Projects

Some of the projects where we have provided Civil Engineering, Surveying and Environmental services are represented in the pictures on this site.  Many are a one-time project for a particular client and others, like the Milford Regional Medical Center illustrate various phases of the expansion of the facility including the recently opened Meehan Family Pavilion and new Emergency Department located on Route 140 in Milford, MA.
